MYTH #1: I’M CLAUSTROPHOBIC.

At Escape Code the rooms are typically wide open, often the size of a bedroom or much, MUCH larger. Even when spaces are a little smaller, there’s never a feeling of being trapped or squeezed in. The doors are never locked, and you are free to come and go as you please.

MYTH #2: IT’S SCARY.

While some escape rooms around the world do have a scare factor built in, at Escape Code we have chosen to avoid this altogether. While experiences are thematic, immersive and include lighting and audio effects, we ensure they are designed to avoid anxiety and any measure of fear.

MYTH #3: IT’S TOO HARD.

Don’t underestimate yourself! Escape rooms are not only for brilliant minds but for people of all ages, personality types and proficiencies. This includes people who just enjoy the immersion and the story, those who love to search (but honestly don’t love puzzles), kids who at times outpace mom and dad and others who simply love to watch the rest of their group conquer! And, keep in mind that your helpful game guide will be available throughout to send hints should you request them and help lead you toward victory!

MYTH #4: IT’S ONLY FOR KIDS.

While kids love their experience at Escape Code, and they regularly beg mom and dad to play another game, our immersive stories are designed for all ages. In fact, adults (and families) are our key demographic. Some of the most engaging groups are folks who are well into the glorious retirement years!

MYTH #5: IT’S ONLY FOR LARGE GROUPS.

Yes, it’s true, Escape Code has two of the largest escape scenarios in the world. Secret Passage and The Zeros are each over 2500 square feet and can accommodate up to 16 people each. That being said, our remaining five games are perfect for as few as two people! Date nights, friend outings and other events are amazing at Escape Code!

MYTH #6: I DON’T WANT TO PLAY WITH STRANGERS.

That makes perfect sense. Escape games are best enjoyed by people you know. The element that people you aren’t familiar with bring to an experience may not be what you are looking for. At Escape Code ALL experiences are PRIVATE. You’ll have a blast with your friends and family!

MYTH #7: I PLAYED ELSEWHERE AND…

The allure of escape rooms includes the fact that they are all different! You can play in most every region of the nation and world and experience absolutely incredible stories and games.
