When we opened Escape Code, our dream was simple: to bring a world-class, deeply immersive experience to the heart of the Ozarks. We knew we wanted to build amazing sets, craft compelling stories, and create a space where families could truly connect. But no matter how much heart we pour into our 29 rooms and seven adventures, the true measure of our success is the experience of the guests who walk through our doors.
We are incredibly humbled and honored to be considered one of Branson's best attractions. Rather than us telling you why, we thought it would be fun to sit down, highlight ten of our favorite recent guest reviews, and share a little behind-the-scenes commentary on why these moments mean so much to our team.
1. The Global Standard

Our Take: We are incredibly honored by this. Our goal has always been to bring premium, large-scale entertainment right here to Branson. It is deeply humbling to know that our local, homegrown attraction stands toe-to-toe with experiences across the globe.
2. Puzzles With a Purpose

Our Take: This means the world to our design team! There is nothing more frustrating than paying for a game where the puzzles feel random or disconnected. We spend countless hours testing our game flow to ensure every clue logically drives the story forward. You shouldn't have to read the designer's mind to have a great time!
3. The Stranger-Free Guarantee
“What sold me was the fact that my husband and I were able to reserve a slot for just the two of us and not have to worry about being paired with strangers, but Vortex was seriously the coolest escape room experience.” ~Kenzie Worden
Our Take: We completely agree with Kenzie here. Playing with people you don't know can completely change the dynamic of your vacation. That is exactly why we strictly enforce our stranger-free philosophy. Whether it's a date night for two or a family reunion, your game is always 100% private.
4. Epic Scale

Our Take: We love reading reactions like this. We intentionally design our games to unfold, expand, and surprise you as you play. With massive experiences like Secret Passage and The Zeros (which are actually two of the largest individual escape games in the world), we want that awe-inspiring “wow” factor to keep building right up until the final second.
5. Winning Over the Skeptics

Our Take: It is always a huge compliment when we can win over a skeptic! It’s completely normal to be hesitant if you’ve never played a live-action game before. We work hard to make sure our environments are welcoming, intuitive, and fun for absolute beginners while still remaining thrilling for veterans.
6. Multi-Generational Magic

Our Take: Hearing that multiple generations can enjoy our games together is exactly why we do this. We intentionally build our rooms without fear factors or jump scares so that an 8-year-old and an 80-year-old can both actively contribute to solving the mystery without anyone feeling left out.

We strive to create highly tactile, visual, and story-driven environments where everyone can engage in a way that feels comfortable, exciting, and rewarding for them.
